1. Defendant William Leonard Pickard was indicted by a Grand Jury for conspiracy to manufacture and distribute more than 10 grams of LSD in violation of 21 USC 846 and possession with intent to distribute 10 or more grams of LSD in violation of 21 USC 841(a)(i). Following an 11-week jury trial, defendant was convicted on both counts on March 31, 2003.

IV. ISSUES RAISED ON APPEAL.

1) Failure to comply with Speedy Trial Act.

2) Prejudicial remarks by the trial court in/out of jury presence.
3) Denial of defendant's various motions to suppress.
4) Trial courts allowing of amendments to indictment by interlineation.
5) Denial of defendant's evidentiary objections.
6) Admission of inadmissible testimony and exhibits.
7) Non-admission of admissible testimony and exhibits.
8) Denial of various discovery requests by defendant, pre/during/post trial.
9) Denial of defendant's renewed motion for judgement of acquittal.
